The New Me

by Nishe

about

The album “The New Me” is a very personal story, which Nishe uses to process the tough and violent period that now lies behind her, in an attempt to let go and find peace of mind, while in the same time using it as the launch to a new start. “The New Me”, also the title track of the album with good reason, for it is the "what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger" mentality that runs like a red thread through the album that is the theme of this track. Often very powerful, even more so because of the vulnerability that always shines through. Feminine, tough and honest, trying to reconcile with the sometimes harsh reality, but always from a positive point of view.
